Summary:To provide a processing method of a tubing material which prevents, when performing expansion processing of the tubing material by inner pressure of fluid in the tubing material, deformation of the tubing material in an axial direction and is capable of securing sealability of the tubing material.SOLUTION: A processing method of a shaft 20 (tubing material) includes a sealing step in which a projection 212 of a punch member 210 is pushed in an edge face 51 of the shaft 20 and an inclined plane 213 (second inclined plane) of the punch member 210 seals an inclined plane 53 (first inclined plane) of the shaft 20, a portion 20a of the shaft 20 sandwiched between the projection 212 and the inclined plane 213 is compressed to generate compression stress, and the compression stress is applied to a seal portion 20b so as to seal an aperture 21b of the shaft 20. While inside of the shaft 20 is sealed after the sealing step, the shaft 20 is expanded (deformed) by inner pressure of fluid L filled in the shaft 20.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6 【課題】管材の内部の流体による内圧によって管材を膨張させる加工を行う場合に、管材の軸方向の変形を防止しながら管材のシール性を確保することが可能な管材の加工方法を提供する。【解決手段】このシャフト20(管材)の加工方法は、パンチ部材210の突出部212をシャフト20の端面51に押し込みながら、パンチ部材210の傾斜面213(第2傾斜面)によりシャフト20の傾斜面53(第1傾斜面)をシールすることによって、突出部212と傾斜面213との間に挟まれるシャフト20の部分20aが圧縮されることに起因して生じる圧縮応力をシール部20bに付与した状態で、シャフト20の開口部21bをシールするシール工程を備える。そして、上記シール工程の後、シャフト20の内部が密閉された状態で、シャフト20の内部に充填された流体Lによる内圧によってシャフト20が膨張(変形)される。【選択図】図6
