To provide a thin spectroscopic camera.SOLUTION: A spectroscopic camera comprises: a housing that defines a first opening and a second opening, the housing in which the first opening and the second opening are provided at positions opposite to each other; a first optical element that is arranged in the first opening; a second optical element that is arranged in the second opening; a wavelength variable interference filter that is held inside the housing, the wavelength variable interference filter including a pair of reflection coatings and a gap changing unit changing the interval between the pair of reflection coatings and emitting, from first image light incident from the first opening, second image light having a wavelength according to the interval between the pair of reflection coatings toward the second opening; and an image pick-up device that picks up an image of the second image light emitted from the second opening.
