To provide a hybrid drive device that can easily improve the efficiency of traveling in an automobile vehicle speed mode in which vehicle speed is automatically adjusted.SOLUTION: A hybrid drive device is equipped with an internal combustion engine, an electric motor, a transmission that can transmit total power sent from the internal combustion engine and the electric motor to driving wheels by changing a transmission ratio thereof, and a control portion that controls the rotation speed of the internal combustion engine, the rotation speed of the electric motor, and a control portion controlling the transmission ratio of a transmission. The control portion sets one or more specific engine operation areas from optional engine operation areas, sets a plurality of specific motor operation areas from optional motor operation areas, and switches the operation area of the internal combustion engine and the operation area of the electric motor to a combination selected from a plurality of combinations of the specific engine operation areas and the specific motor operation areas, in an automobile speed mode in which vehicle speed is automatically adjusted.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5 【課題】自動的に車速が調整される自動車速モードにおいて走行の高効率化を図りやすいハイブリッド駆動装置を提供する。【解決手段】ハイブリッド駆動装置は、内燃機関と、電動モータと、内燃機関及び電動モータから送られる合計の動力を変速比を変えて駆動輪に伝達可能な変速機と、内燃機関の回転速度、電動モータの回転速度、変速機の変速比を制御する制御部とを備える。そして、制御部は、任意のエンジン動作領域の中から１つ又は複数の特定エンジン動作領域を設定し、任意のモータ動作領域の中から１つ又は複数の特定モータ動作領域を設定し、かつ、車速を自動で調整する自動車速モードの際に、内燃機関の動作領域及び電動モータの動作領域を、特定エンジン動作領域及び特定モータ動作領域の複数の組み合わせの中から選択された組み合わせに切り替えることで、車速を調整する。【選択図】図５
