The electrode includes an active material-containing layer and a current collector layer. The active material-containing layer includes a first main surface and a second main surface behind the first main surface. The current collector layer is in contact with the second main surface of the active material-containing layer. The composite film includes a composite layer in contact with the first main surface of the active material-containing layer. The composite layer includes inorganic solid particles and a polymeric material. The peel strength σ1 at the first interface between the active material-containing layer and the composite layer and the peel strength σ2 at the second interface between the active material-containing layer and the current collector layer satisfy the relationship of σ1>σ2.
