Summary:To accurately inspect the performance of an ultrasonic probe by a simple device.SOLUTION: An inspection device comprises a detection unit and an inspection unit. The detection unit detects the waveform of a reflection wave having passed through an acoustic coupling member, the reflection wave having been obtained by transmitting an ultrasonic wave by the ultrasonic probe, causing the ultrasonic wave to pass through an acoustic coupling member adhering to the acoustic radiation surface of the ultrasonic probe, and reflecting the ultrasonic wave.
