Summary:To suppress breakage of a medium when a discharge stacker which can be stored in a device is stored.SOLUTION: A medium conveyance device 1 includes: a medium support part 3 having a first placement surface 3a inclined with respect to a horizontal surface; a conveyance passage 10 having a curve path 10a where a medium M is conveyed in a curved state; and a discharge stacker 4 which can switch between a stretched state for forming a second placement surface 4a inclined with respect to the horizontal surface and for receiving the medium M discharged from the conveyance passage 10 by including the position opposing to the first placement surface 3a, and a storage state being stored in the medium conveyance device 1.
