To provide an elevator system capable of calculating highly accurately the number of persons planning to get on in operation management of an elevator device using an authentication technology.SOLUTION: An elevator system includes: an elevator device installed in a building; an imaging unit installed in an elevator landing; a security system authenticating a user photographed by the imaging device and extracting user information including identification information of the authenticated user; and a management control system performing addition to accumulate numbers of persons planning to get on the elevator device based on the user information extracted by the security system and managing operation of the elevator device based on the accumulated number of persons planning to get thereon. The management control system temporarily holds the user information extracted by the security system.
