Summary:To provide a heat detector capable of easily reducing an exposed portion thereof from an installation surface.SOLUTION: A heat detector 100 includes: a case lid 30 with a first hole 31 formed on the underside; a case 80 comprising a case body 10; a substrate 20 stored in the case 80; a sensor 40 having a heat-sensitive part attached to the substrate 20 and exposed through the first hole 31; and a protector 60 comprising a top plate 60, a pillar 63 and a cover 64 that protect the heat-sensitive part.
