【課題】予圧の適否を判定した際の信頼度をさらに高めることができる車輪用軸受装置の予圧検査方法を提供する。【解決手段】予圧検査方法は、内輪4を小径段部3aに圧入する工程S02と、軸方向負隙間G1に基づき第1の軸受予圧値P1を算出する工程S03と、圧入後回転トルクTaを測定する工程S05と、小径段部を内輪に加締めて加締部3hを形成する工程S06と、加締部の高さ寸法hおよび外径寸法rを測定する加締加工度測定工程S07と、加締後回転トルクTbを測定する工程S08と、差分トルクΔTに基づいた予圧変化量ΔPを第1の軸受予圧値に加えて第2の軸受予圧値P2を算出する工程S09と、第2の軸受予圧値が基準値の範囲内であるか否かにより予圧の適否を判定する第1の判定工程S10と、高さ寸法および外径寸法と差分トルクの値とを照合して加締異常の有無を判定する第2の判定工程S11とを備える。【選択図】図2 |
