【課題】道路を撮影した画像をもとに路上障害物を検出する際、検出精度を向上できる技術を提供する。【解決手段】路上障害物検出装置1において、取得部10は、道路を撮影した画像を取得する。第1検出部12は、取得された画像から車道外側線を検出する。道路領域推定部14は、検出された車道外側線に基づいて画像内の道路領域を推定する。局所領域分割部16は、取得された画像を複数の局所領域に分割する。第1導出部30は、局所領域内の道路領域の割合が高いほど当該局所領域が道路である確率を高く導出する。第2導出部32は、対象局所領域が予め定められた正常物体ではない確率を導出し、導出した当該対象局所領域が正常物体ではない確率と、第1導出部30で導出された当該対象局所領域の周辺に位置する周辺局所領域が道路である確率に基づいて、当該対象局所領域に路上障害物が存在する確率を導出する。【選択図】図1 |
