Summary:To provide a technique capable of forming an output image including an authentication image that is more difficult to be duplicated on a medium.SOLUTION: An image formation apparatus for forming an output image including an authentication image for authenticity determination on a medium comprises: a recording head which discharges droplets to the medium; a drive unit which performs main-scanning of moving the recording head in the main-scanning direction and sub-scanning of feeding the medium in the feeding direction; and a control unit which controls the main-scanning and the sub-scanning by the drive unit and discharging of the droplets by the recording head on the basis of image formation data expressing the output image.
