Summary:To provide a thermal transfer film that has an excellent transfer property and can suppress a temperature of a body to be transferred from rising after transfer.SOLUTION: A thermal transfer film has a print layer and a base material layer. The print layer contains a resin binder and pigment. In the resin binder, which is a film with a thickness of 10 μm, a maximum absorption rate of infrared rays with wavelengths of 980-1580 nm is 5% or less. In the print layer, which is formed into a laminated body laminated with a polyethylene terephthalate film with a thickness of 4.5 μm, the laminated body satisfies the following requirements (1)-(3): (1) light transmissibility of a D65 light source is 35% or less; (2) minimum reflectance of infrared rays with wavelengths of 980-1580 nm is 20% or more; and (3) a maximum absorption rate of infrared rays with wavelengths of 980-1580 nm is 30% or less.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 【課題】優れた転写性を有し、転写後の被転写体の温度上昇を抑えることが可能な熱転写フィルムを提供する。【解決手段】印刷層と、基材層と、を有する熱転写フィルムであって、印刷層が、樹脂バインダーと、顔料と、を含有し、樹脂バインダーは、厚さ10μmのフィルムとした際に、波長980~1580nmの赤外線の最大吸収率が5%以下であり、印刷層は、厚さ4.5μmのポリエチレンテレフタレートフィルムと積層して積層体とした際に、当該積層体が下記要件(1)~(3)を満たす、熱転写フィルム。(1)D65光源の光透過率が35%以下である。(2)波長980~1580nmの赤外線の最小反射率が20%以上である。(3)波長980~1580nmの赤外線の最大吸収率が30%以下である。【選択図】図1
