Summary:To provide a work machine that is capable of properly suppressing the generation of surge pressure in a hydraulic circuit during switching of the rotation direction of a fan motor.SOLUTION: A work device comprises a first fan that generates airflow by rotating, a fan motor driven by hydraulic oil to rotate the first fan, a flow control valve that adjusts the flow rate of hydraulic oil supplied to the fan motor, a directional control valve that switches the direction of rotation of the first fan by switching the flow direction of hydraulic oil for driving the fan motor, and a control unit that controls the flow control valve and the directional control valve. The controller outputs a control signal to the directional control valve to switch the direction of rotation of the first fan while gradually opening the flow control valve and fully opening the flow control valve to lower the speed of the first fan to the lowest speed when switching the flow direction of the hydraulic oil for driving the fan motor.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 【課題】ファンモータの回転方向の切り換え時における油圧回路内のサージ圧の発生を良好に抑制することができる作業機を提供する。【解決手段】作業機は、回転することで気流を発生させる第1ファンと、作動油によって駆動して第1ファンを回転させるファンモータと、ファンモータに供給される作動油の流量を調節する流量調節弁と、ファンモータを駆動する作動油の流れ方向を切り換えて第1ファンの回転方向を切り換える方向切換弁と、流量調節弁及び方向切換弁を制御する制御装置と、を備え、制御装置は、ファンモータを駆動する作動油の流れ方向を切り換える際に流量調節弁を徐々に開いていくと共に流量調節弁を全開して第1ファンの回転数を最低回転数に低下させた状態で、方向切換弁に制御信号を出力して第1ファンの回転方向を切り換える。【選択図】図1
