Summary:To provide a developing device of a non-magnetic one-component system that can satisfactorily maintain image quality even when the developing device uses a low temperature fixing toner, and an image forming apparatus including the same.SOLUTION: Melt viscosity (Pa s) at 95°C of a toner is set to be included within a range of 10000 or more and 200000 or less. When an amount of toner conveyed on a developing roller 331 regulated by a regulation blade 334 is Md(g/m2), an amount of toner attached in a solid image on a photoreceptor drum 30 is Mp(g/m2), a peripheral speed of the developing roller 331 is Sd(mm/sec), and a peripheral speed of the photoreceptor drum 331 is Sp(mm/sec), relationships of 0.2≤Mp/Md≤0.8 and 0.8×Sd/Sp<Mp/Md are satisfied.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 【課題】低温定着トナーを用いた場合であっても画像品質を良好に維持することが可能な非磁性一成分方式の現像装置およびこれを備えた画像形成装置を提供する。【解決手段】トナーの95℃における溶融粘度(Pa・s)が10000以上200000以下の範囲に含まれるように設定されている。規制ブレード334によって規制された現像ローラー331上のトナーの搬送量をMd(g/m2)、感光体ドラム30上のベタ画像におけるトナーの付着量をMp(g/m2)、現像ローラー331の周速をSd(mm/sec)、感光体ドラム331の周速をSp(mm/sec)とすると、0.2≦Mp/Md≦0.8、かつ、0.8×Sd/Sp<Mp/Mdの関係が満たされている。【選択図】図2
