Summary:To provide a pipe cutting method and a device of the same capable of performing an expected cutting step while maintaining high sealability by stably supporting a fluid pipe, when cutting the fluid pipe by a cutter in a housing.SOLUTION: The pipe cutting method cuts a fluid pipe 2 in a non-cutoff flow state, by using a pipe cutting device 1 which includes a housing 4 for surrounding the fluid pipe 2 in a sealed state, and a cutter 72 for cutting the fluid pipe 2 in the housing 4.
