Summary: | To provide an ignition coil which is effective in preventing a coil assembly from being lifted by contact between a connection terminal and a high-pressure connection part.SOLUTION: An ignition coil comprises: a coil assembly 10 having a center core 15, a primary coil 11 and a secondary coil 12 which are magnetically coupled to each other around the center core 15, and a connection terminal 16 which is electrically connected to the secondary coil 12; and an outer peripheral part 20 which is assembled to the outer periphery of the coil assembly 10. The coil assembly 10 is sealed with resin in such a state that the connection terminal 16 comes into contact in a flexibly deformable manner with a high-pressure cup 26 serving as a high-pressure connection part provided in the outer peripheral part 20, and that a magnetic path is defined between the center core 15 and the outer peripheral part 20. The outer peripheral part 20 is provided with a movement prevention part 30 for preventing the movement of the coil assembly 10 before being sealed with the resin caused by contact reaction force from the high-pressure cup 26 which acts on the connection terminal 16.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
【課題】接続端子と高圧接続部との接触によるコイルアッシーの浮き上がりを抑えるのに有効な点火コイルを提供する。【解決手段】中心コア15と、中心コア15のまわりにおいて互いに磁気結合した一次コイル11及び二次コイル12と、二次コイル12に電気的に接続された接続端子16と、を有するコイルアッシー10と、コイルアッシー10の外周に組付けられる外周部20と、を備え、コイルアッシー10は、外周部20に設けられている高圧接続部である高圧カップ26に接続端子16が撓み変形可能に接触し且つ中心コア15が外周部20との間で磁気経路を形成した状態で樹脂封止されるように構成されており、外周部20には、高圧カップ26から接続端子16に作用する接触反力によってコイルアッシー10が樹脂封止前に動くのを抑制する移動抑制部30が設けられている。【選択図】図1 |
