To provide a washing machine having enhanced functionality and design in operation parts such as a power button provided on a top plate of the washing machine and an upper lid of a liquid agent charging unit.SOLUTION: A washing machine 1 has a top plate 3 as a part of an apparatus housing, and is provided with a power button 6 for receiving an operation from a user, a front lid 4 and a rear lid 5 on the top plate. The top plate 3 has a top surface part 31 that is a horizontal flat surface, and a curved part 32 that is formed in front of the top surface part 31, is smoothly connected to the flat surface of the top surface part 31, and has a curved surface whose height decreases from the rear to the front. The power button 6 is arranged on the curved part 32. The front lid 4 is arranged at a position where a part of a front side thereof hangs on the curved part 32.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 【課題】洗濯機の上面板に設けられる電源ボタンや液剤投入ユニットの上部蓋などの操作部における機能性やデザイン性を高めた洗濯機を提供する。【解決手段】洗濯機１は、装置筐体の一部として上面板３を有しており、上面板にユーザからの操作を受ける電源ボタン６や、前蓋４および後蓋５が設けられている。上面板３は、水平な平坦面とされている天面部３１と、天面部３１の前方に形成され、天面部３１の平坦面と滑らかに繋がり、後方から前方に向かって高さが低くなるような湾曲面を有する湾曲部３２とを備えている。電源ボタン６は湾曲部３２に配置されている。前蓋４は、その前方側の一部が湾曲部３２に掛かる位置に配置されている。【選択図】図３
