Summary: | To provide a silicon carbide cylindrical body in which occurrence of lamination is suppressed, and a method for producing a silicon carbide cylindrical body which suppresses occurrence of lamination.SOLUTION: A method for producing a silicon carbide cylindrical body that is made of a sintered body includes: a mixing step (S1) of mixing silicon carbide (SiC) as a raw material with at least a binder, a sintering aid and water with a mixer; a kneading step (S2) of kneading powder of the raw material mixed by the mixing step, and obtaining a clay-like green body; an extrusion molding step (S3) of extrusion molding the green body kneaded in the kneading step, and obtaining a molding; and a step (S4) of sintering the extrusion molded molding, in which the kneading step (S2) kneads the raw material by a biaxial kneading extruder, and forming a clay-like green body.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
【課題】、ラミネーションの発生を抑制した炭化ケイ素の筒体およびラミネーション欠陥の発生を抑制する炭化ケイ素の筒体製造方法を提供する。【解決手段】本発明に係る炭化ケイ素筒体の製造方法は、焼結体からなる炭化ケイ素の筒体製造方法であって、原料である炭化ケイ素(SiC)と、少なくともバインダー、焼結助剤、水をミキサーで混合する混合工程(S1)と、前記混合工程によって混合された原料の粉末を混練し、粘土状の坏土を得る混練工程(S2)と、前記混練工程で混練された坏土を押出成形し、成形体を得る押出成形工程(S3)と、前記押出成形された成形体を焼結する工程(S4)と、を含み、前記混練工程(S2)において、二軸混練押出機によって原料を混練し、粘土状の坏土とすることを特徴する。【選択図】図2 |
