Summary:To reduce tool dimensions in an axial direction of a drive shaft.SOLUTION: An impact rotary tool 1 includes: a drive shaft 4, a speed reduction mechanism 5, an output shaft 13, a hammer 11, a spring part 12 and a bearing part 6. The speed reduction mechanism 5 transmits rotational force of a shaft of a motor 31 to the drive shaft 4. The output shaft 13 outputs the rotation exerted from the drive shaft 4 and transmits the rotation to a tip tool B1. The hammer 11 strikes the output shaft 13 while being supported by the drive shaft 4 so as to be rotatable. The spring part 12 urges the hammer 11 toward a side of the output shaft 13. The bearing part 6 bears the drive shaft 4 so as to be rotatable.
