Summary:To provide a radio apparatus which prevents the deterioration of signal reception quality through a radio link.SOLUTION: According to an embodiment, the radio apparatus includes a radio unit, communicable with a first mobile station and a second mobile station, and a control unit. The control unit estimates the state of a first radio link between the first mobile station and the radio unit and the state of a second radio link between the second mobile station and the radio unit, in a first communication mode in which communication between the first mobile station and the second mobile station is performed by the radio unit, without direct communication between the first mobile station and the second mobile station.
