Summary: | To provide a power conversion device capable of improving reliability of ground fault detection.SOLUTION: A power conversion device according to one aspect of an embodiment comprises an inverter, a brake resistance, an overvoltage adjustment unit, a regeneration state detection unit, a midpoint potential detection unit, and a ground fault detection unit. The inverter is formed so as to convert a DC power supplied via a DC link to an AC power, supply the converted AC power to a winding of an electric motor, and regenerate energy produced when electric motor is decelerated to the DC link side. The brake resistance is provided so as to be connected to the DC link. The overvoltage adjustment unit connects the brake resistance to the DC link. The regeneration state detection unit detects a regeneration state of the electric motor. The midpoint potential detection unit detects a midpoint potential between both poles of the DC link with respect to a ground potential. The ground fault detection unit detects a ground fault occurring on the DC side of the inverter on the basis of detection results of the regeneration state of the electric motor and the detection results of the midpoint potential.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
【課題】地絡検出の信頼度をより高くすることが可能な電力変換装置を提供する。【解決手段】実施形態の一態様の電力変換装置は、インバータと、制動抵抗と、過電圧調整部と、回生状態検出部と、中点電位検出部と、地絡検出部とを備える。インバータは、直流リンクを介して供給される直流電力を交流電力に変換して、前記変換した交流電力を電動機の巻線に供給し、前記電動機を減速させるときに生じるエネルギーが前記直流リンク側に回生するように形成されている。制動抵抗は、前記直流リンクに接続させるように設けられている。過電圧調整部は、制動抵抗を直流リンクに接続させる。回生状態検出部は、前記電動機の回生状態を検出する。中点電位検出部は、対地電位に対する前記直流リンクの両極間の中点電位を検出する。地絡検出部は、前記電動機の回生状態の検出結果と、前記中点電位の検出結果とに基づいて、前記インバータの直流側に生じた地絡を検出する。【選択図】図1 |
