Summary:To provide an electric discharge machine which does not need a large amount of labor for maintenance work of a power feeding element and achieves reduction of running costs.SOLUTION: An electric discharge machine 1 causes electric discharge between an electrode wire 10 and a workpiece 12 while moving the electrode wire 10 to process the workpiece 12. The electrical discharge machine 1 includes a power feeding element 2 which contacts with the moving electrode wire 10 and supplies electric power for causing electric discharge between the electrode wire 10 and the workpiece 12 to the electrode wire 10. The power feeding element 2 is provided so as to be rotatable around a rotation axis O perpendicular to a moving direction of the electrode wire 10, and the electric discharge machine 1 includes a polishing member 3 which polishes a contact surface of the power feeding element 2 with the electrode wire 10 in conjunction with rotation of the power feeding element 2.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 【課題】給電子のメンテナンス作業に手間がかからず、かつランニングコストを低減できる放電加工機を提供する。
