Summary: | To provide a concentrating device that concentrates biological particles easily, quickly and efficiently.SOLUTION: A concentrating device 10 for biological particles 50 includes: a housing 20 in which a liquid 40 to be treated containing the biological particles 50 and water is injected from an inlet 21 and discharged from an outlet 22 due to the differential pressure between the inlet 21 and the outlet 22; a concentrating membrane 30 placed to separate the inlet 21 and the outlet 22, which is a hydrophilic porous membrane that does not adsorb the biological particles 50, and that allows discharged liquid 42, which is a liquid obtained by reducing the concentration of the biological particles 50 from the liquid to be treated 40, to permeate from the surface on the inlet 21 side to the surface on the outlet 22 side; a concentrating space 24 that houses a concentrated liquid 41 in which the concentration of the biological particles 50 is increased by the concentrating membrane 30 on the upstream side of the concentrating membrane 30 in the housing 20; and a support portion located between the concentrating membrane 30 and the outlet 22 where the concentrating membrane 30 is placed and a drainage groove 20E which is a plurality of radial grooves communicating with the outlet 22 is provided.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
