Summary:To achieve high output of an internal combustion engine while suppressing adverse effect on a turbine due to heat of exhaust gas.SOLUTION: The internal combustion engine includes: a turbine of a supercharger provided in an exhaust passage through which exhaust gas generated from an internal combustion engine body flows; an EGR device for recirculating a part of the exhaust gas to the internal combustion engine body; a temperature sensor 55 provided in the EGR device in order to detect a temperature of the exhaust gas to be recirculated; an operation determination section 123 for determining the presence or absence of the operation of the EGR device; and an injection control section 125 for controlling fuel injection to the internal combustion engine body on the basis of the temperature detected by the temperature sensor 55 when it is determined that the EGR device is operated, and controlling the fuel injection so that the temperature of the exhaust gas flowing to the turbine does not exceed a predetermined threshold when it is determined that the EGR device is not operated.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 【課題】排気ガスの熱によるタービンへの悪影響を抑制すると共に、内燃機関の高出力を実現する。【解決手段】内燃機関は、内燃機関本体から発生する排気ガスが流れる排気通路に設けられた過給機のタービンと、排気ガスの一部を内燃機関本体へ還流させるためのEGR装置と、EGR装置に設けられ、還流する排気ガスの温度を検出する温度センサ55と、EGR装置の動作の有無を判定する動作判定部123と、EGR装置が動作していると判定された場合には、温度センサ55が検出した温度に基づいて内燃機関本体への燃料噴射を制御し、EGR装置が動作していないと判定された場合には、タービンへ向かう排気ガスの温度が予め定まった閾値を超えないように燃料噴射を制御する噴射制御部125とを備える。【選択図】図2
