Summary:To accurately detect a folded deviation after folding processing regardless of a state of the folded deviation.SOLUTION: A post-processing system includes: a folding apparatus that applies folding processing to a sheet; an image reading apparatus that reads the sheet after the folding processing to acquire a read image; and a control unit that detects a folded deviation based on the read image acquired by the image reading apparatus. The control unit determines that a diagonal folded deviation is detected when a linear portion outside of a predefined rectangular region is detected in the read image, and determines that a parallel folded deviation is detected at a sheet end portion when the number of linear portions that are parallel to a side of the predefined rectangular region and have lengths equal to or longer than a predetermined length is larger than the number of preset sheet edges.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4 【課題】折り処理後の折りずれを、折りずれの状態に拘わらず正確に検出できるようにする。【解決手段】後処理システムは、用紙に折り処理を施す折り装置と、折り処理後の用紙を読み取って読取画像を取得する画像読取装置と、画像読取装置において取得された読取画像に基づいて、折りずれを検出する制御部と、を備え、制御部は、読取画像において、予め定められた矩形領域の外に直線部分を検出した場合に、斜めの折りずれが検出されたと判断し、予め定められた矩形領域の辺に平行で所定の長さ以上の直線部分の数が予め設定された用紙エッジの数より多いと判断した場合に、用紙端部に平行な折りずれが検出されたと判断する。【選択図】図4
