Summary:To provide an electronic component with metal terminals which enables improvement of resistance to deflection, and to provide a manufacturing method of the electronic component with the metal terminals.SOLUTION: An electronic component 1 with metal terminals includes conductive fabric members 11A, 11B which are joined to terminal electrodes 7A, 7B as metal terminals 3A, 3B. The fabric members 11A, 11B are flexible members compared to a metal terminal formed by bending a metal piece. Thus, the fabric members 11A, 11B may easily bend against deflection. Further, the fabric members 11A, 11B are supported by buffer member 10A, 10B to maintain an attitude at which the fabric members 11A, 11B electrically connect the terminal electrodes 7A, 7B of an electronic component 2 with a terminal of the substrate, while having flexibility. In other words, the fabric members 11A, 11B can sufficiently exhibit functions as the metal terminals 3A, 3B while improving resistance to deflection.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 【課題】耐たわみ性を向上できる金属端子付き電子部品、及び金属端子付き電子部品の製造方法を提供する。【解決手段】金属端子付き電子部品1は、金属端子3A,3Bとして端子電極7A,7Bと接合される、導電性の布部材11A,11Bを備える。布部材11A,11Bは、金属片を折り曲げることによって形成した金属端子に比べて、柔軟性がある部材である。従って、布部材11A,11Bは、たわみに対して容易に曲がることができる。また、布部材11A,11Bは、柔軟性を有しつつも、緩衝部材10A,10Bで支持されることで、電子部品2の端子電極7A,7Bと基板の端子とを電気的に接続した姿勢を維持することができる。すなわち、布部材11A,11Bは、耐たわみ性を向上しつつも、金属端子3A,3Bとしての機能を十分に発揮することができる。【選択図】図1
