To secure a sufficient space at the front side of a driver when a vehicle collides.SOLUTION: A column stay 13 includes: a stay main body portion 20 that extends in the vertical direction; right and left flange portions 18 at the lower-end side; a fastening plate portion 19 at the upper-end side; and a column support hole 21. The right and left flange portions 18 are fastened to a floor panel 4, and the fastening plate portion 19 is fastened to a steering member 11. A load transfer member 14 extends in the back-and-forth direction between a dash panel 5 and the column stay 13, and has a front end portion 30 and a rear end portion 29 supported by the dash panel 5 and the column stay 13, respectively. When load is input from the front side to the dash panel 5, the load transfer member 14 acts as a strut between the dash panel 5 and the stay main body portion 20 of the column stay 13, and the load from the dash panel 5 is transferred from the rear end portion 29 of the load transfer member 14 to the stay main body portion 20.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 【課題】車両衝突時に運転者の前方に十分なスペースを確保する。【解決手段】コラムステー１３は、上下方向に延びるステー本体部２０と、下端側の左右のフランジ部１８と、上端側の固定板部１９と、コラム支持孔２１とを有する。左右のフランジ部１８はフロアパネル４に対して固定され、固定板部１９はステアリングメンバ１１に対して固定される。荷重伝達部材１４は、ダッシュパネル５とコラムステー１３との間で前後方向に延び、前端部３０及び後端部２９がダッシュパネル５及びコラムステー１３に支持される。ダッシュパネル５に対して前方から荷重が入力すると、荷重伝達部材１４がダッシュパネル５とコラムステー１３のステー本体部２０との間で突っ張り、ダッシュパネル５からの荷重が荷重伝達部材１４の後端部２９からステー本体部２０へ伝達される。【選択図】図２
