Summary:To provide an automated warehouse system configured to allow for reliable and quick picking work.SOLUTION: An automated warehouse system includes: a robot apparatus 3 which is disposed in a warehouse facility and can perform picking work in an autonomous operation mode; a remote terminal 6 which is disposed in a remote place and can perform picking work in a remote operation mode by using the robot apparatus 3; and a local management apparatus 2 which is disposed in the warehouse facility, controls the robot apparatus 3 in the autonomous operation mode and controls the robot apparatus 3 on the basis of a remote operation command from the remote terminal 6.
