Summary:To diagnose a possibility that a vehicle has been exposed to sand dust before the vehicle undergoes a failure.SOLUTION: A vehicle diagnostic device diagnoses at least one vehicle mounted with an engine. The vehicle has a moisture sensor which is arranged inside an engine compartment and detects moisture. When intake pressure of the engine is higher than a predetermined value and the moisture sensor detects the moisture, the vehicle diagnostic device determines a possibility that the vehicle is exposed to sand dust.
