To install and fix an inclinometer in a rotary excavation rod, and easily and reliably measure the direction and angle of the inclination of a rotary excavation rod that rotates and descends to the ground when it is rotating or stationary.SOLUTION: In this method, an inclinometer is installed and fixed to a rotary excavation rod b in any direction in the circumferential direction. A rotary excavation machine A is provided with a rotation angle measuring device 1 that measures the rotation angle of the rotary excavation rod b with reference to the installation orientation of the inclinometer. In this way, the direction of the inclinometer is calculated by measuring the rotation angle of the rotary excavation rod b rotating and descending to the ground with the rotation angle measuring device 1, and the direction and angle of the inclination of the rotary excavation rod b are measured by the inclinometer.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 【課題】傾斜計を回転掘削ロッド内に設置固定して、地盤に回転下降させる回転掘削ロッドの回転時又は静止時の傾きの方向及び角度を簡易かつ確実に計測する。【解決手段】本方法では、傾斜計を回転掘削ロッドｂに円周方向任意の方向に向けて設置固定する。回転式掘削機械Ａに、傾斜計の設置向きを基準にして回転掘削ロッドｂの回転角度を計測する回転角度計測装置１を併設する。このようにして地盤に回転下降中の回転掘削ロッドｂの回転角度を回転角度計測装置１により計測することにより傾斜計の向きを算出して、この傾斜計により、回転掘削ロッドｂの傾きの方向及び角度を計測する。【選択図】図１
