To provide a thermosensitive recording body which is excellent in moist heat resistance and solvent barrier property while having color developing performance without providing a protective layer.SOLUTION: A thermosensitive recording body has a thermosensitive recording layer containing a colorless or pale color electron-donating leuco dye and an electron-accepting developer as main components, on a support, and has no protective layer on the thermosensitive recording layer. The thermosensitive recording layer contains an urea compound represented by the following general formula as the electron-accepting developer, carboxy-modified polyvinyl alcohol as a binder, and an epichlorohydrin-based resin and a polyamine/polyamide-based resin (excluding those included in epichlorohydrin-based resin) as a crosslinking agent. In the formula, R1 to R5 may be the same or different, represent a hydrogen atom, an alkyl group, an alkoxy group, and the like; and m represents an integer of 0 to 2.SELECTED DRAWING: None 【課題】保護層を設けることなしに、発色性能を有しつつ、耐湿熱性、溶剤バリア性などに優れる感熱記録体を提供する。【解決手段】支持体上に、無色ないし淡色の電子供与性ロイコ染料及び電子受容性顕色剤を主成分として含有する感熱記録層を有し、該感熱記録層上に保護層を有さない感熱記録体において、該感熱記録層が、電子受容性顕色剤として下記一般式で表されるウレア化合物、バインダーとしてカルボキシ変性ポリビニルアルコール、並びに架橋剤としてエピクロロヒドリン系樹脂及びポリアミン／ポリアミド系樹脂（エピクロロヒドリン系樹脂に含まれるものを除く。）を含有する、感熱記録体。（式中、Ｒ１〜Ｒ５は、それぞれ同じであっても異なってもよく、水素原子、アルキル基、アルコキシ基などを表し、ｍは０〜２の整数を表す。）【選択図】なし
