Summary:To appropriately achieve securing of safety of a medical activity such as surgery, and convenience in observing the inside of a blood vessel by a user such as a doctor.SOLUTION: A blood vessel observation system includes: an endoscope for imaging a blood vessel of a subject whose tip part is inserted into the blood vessel of the subject, and base end part is fixed while being pulled back by an operation of a user; a pull back device that fixes the endoscope and obtains position information and velocity information on the endoscope during the pull back based on the operation of the user; and a controller that determines whether or not a blood vessel image is obtained roughly at each fixed time during the pull back on the basis of the position information and the velocity information on the endoscope, and when it is determined that the blood vessel image is obtained roughly at each fixed time, displays a display screen of the blood vessel image corresponding to the position information on the endoscope on a monitor.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7 【課題】手術等の医療行為の安全性の確保と医師等のユーザによる血管内の観察の利便性との両立を適切に図る。【解決手段】血管観察システムは、先端部が被検体の血管内に挿入されかつ基端部が固定され、ユーザの操作によりプルバックされる間に被検体の血管を撮像する内視鏡と、内視鏡を固定し、ユーザの操作に基づくプルバック中の内視鏡の位置情報および速度情報を取得するプルバック装置と、内視鏡の位置情報および速度情報に基づいてプルバック中に血管画像が略一定時間ごとに取得されたか否かを判定し、血管画像が略一定時間ごとに取得されたと判定した場合に、内視鏡の位置情報に対応する血管画像の表示画面をモニタに表示するコントローラと、を備える。【選択図】図7
