To provide a washing machine including a small board box which can be arranged in a narrow installation space in an outer case of the washing machine.SOLUTION: A washing machine (1) includes: an outer case (100); a water tub (4) arranged in the outer case (100); and a board box (60) arranged between the outer case (100) and the water tub (4). The board box (60) has: a circuit board (68) mounting a circuit component (82); a board case (64) for covering the circuit board (68); a cooling fan (80) for cooling the circuit component (82); and a fan mounting part (70) on which the cooling fan (80) is mounted. The fan mounting part (70) extends at least between the cooling fan (80) and the circuit board (68).
