To provide a head mounted display easy-to-wear capable of improving mount stability.SOLUTION: A wearing band (20) comprises: an extension part (24); and a movable part (30) that is capable of making a relative movement in the length direction of the wearing band (20) with respect to the extension part (24). The lock mechanism M is configured to switch the wearing band (20) between an unlocked state, in which the movable part (30) is allowed to be moved in an expansion direction to increase the length of the wearing band (20) and in a contraction direction to reduce the length of the wearing band (20), and a lock state in which the movement of the movable part (30) in the expansion direction is restricted.
