To step-down type switching-type power supply device capable of suppressing a recovery loss and a switching loss.SOLUTION: A switching-type power supply device 1A comprises: a first switch SW1 and a second switch SW2, which are connected in serial between an application end of an input voltage VIN and an application voltage lower than the input voltage of the application end; a third switch SW3 and a fourth switch SW4, connected in serial between the application end of the input voltage and the application terminal of a low voltage; and a control part CNT1 constructed so as to control ON/OFF of each of the first to fourth switches.
