To provide an electronic control device which can efficiently radiate heat in a case to the outside.SOLUTION: A case (13) of an electronic control device (10) has a first metal case half body (30) and a second resin case half body (40) which are assembled to each other. An outer surface (42a) of a second side wall part (42) of the second case half body (40) and an inner surface (32a) of a first side wall part (32) of the first case half body (30) contact with each other. One of the outer surface (42a) and the inner surface (32a) has a groove (50) which is open to the other and extends from an opening of the case (13) to the back side.
