To save labor of returning a used ticket or the like to a passenger.SOLUTION: A ticket processing system 1 includes a local device 2 and a remote device 3. The local device 2 includes: a slot 21 into which a ticket 5 is fed; a camera 22 that captures an image of the fed ticket 5; a processing unit 23 (a printer 231 and a punching machine 232) that applies processing that makes a processed result visible, to the fed ticket 5. The remote device 3 includes a display unit 31 and an input unit 32. The local device 2 takes an image of a ticket surface of the inserted ticket 5 with the camera 22 and transmits the image including the captured image to the remote device 3. The remote device 3 displays the received image on the display unit 31 and transmits instruction information entered in the input unit 32 to the local device 2.
