Summary:To provide a grounding device for preventing electrical current or charge from passing through a bearing.SOLUTION: A combined insulator and conductor assembly is provided for a bearing disposable between a shaft and a housing, and includes an annular insulator disposable around an outer ring of the bearing. The insulator is configured to prevent a flow of electrical current between the outer ring and the housing, and includes one or more axially extending mounting tab. The electric conductor includes an outer radial end, an inner radial end, and at least one retainer. The at least one retainer can engage with at least one mounting tab so as to connect the conductor to the insulator in a releasable manner. Each retainer includes a prong engageable with the individual tab and extending radially. A part of the conductor between the outer radial end or/and outer end and the inner end of the conductor is conductively engageable with the housing.
