Summary: | To provide a liquid discharge head which can control a liquid discharge amount, is good in responsiveness of discharge, and is high in a degree of freedom of selection of a material of a discharge port formation member.SOLUTION: A liquid discharge head 1 has: a discharge port 4 for discharging a liquid; a pressure chamber 13 connected to the discharge port 4; a piezoelectric actuator 16 arranged corresponding to the pressure chamber 13; and a common liquid chamber 11 connected to the pressure chamber 13. A liquid passage to the discharge port 4 through the pressure chamber 13 from the common liquid chamber 11 is configured. A diaphragm 9 is provided between the pressure chamber 13 and a discharge port formation member 3 formed with the discharge port 4, and the piezoelectric actuator 16 is arranged on the diaphragm 9.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
