Abstract To provide a fuel cell system capable of shortening the charging time of a secondary battery.SOLUTION: There is provided a fuel cell system mounted on a vehicle. The fuel cell system includes: a fuel cell; a secondary battery; a system temperature acquisition part acquiring a temperature inside the fuel cell system; and a control part. When the temperature inside the system is equal to or less than a predetermined first temperature, the control part charges the secondary battery until a state-of-charge value of the secondary battery reaches a predetermined first threshold, and scavenges the fuel cell in a first pattern.
