Summary:To provide a technique for completing the initial setting of the dioptric power of a dioptric power variable lens without re-installing of a visual observation target by a user.SOLUTION: A focus adjustment tool for the initial setting of auto-focusing spectacles comprises: an adjustment lens 301 which refracts reflection light from a visual observation target; a housing 300 which includes an interior space for the parallel movement of the adjustment lens 301; an adjustment part 304 for adjusting the position in the housing 300 of the adjustment lens 301; and a first end and a second end 303 in the movement direction of the adjustment lens 301. A hole for visually observing the visual observation target via a dioptric power variable lens 101 of the auto-focusing spectacles is provided on the first end.
