Summary: | To provide an automatic operation vehicle which corresponds when a traffic signal turns red in such a state so as to stop within a cross-point by traffic congestion.SOLUTION: In order to go straight a directly facing cross-point on a travel route to pass therethrough, a self vehicle enters the cross-point during traveling in an automatic operation mode. A position detection unit detects that the self vehicle is at position ahead of a center point of the cross-point in a state in which the self vehicle stops within the cross-point and moreover a route setting unit is caused to generate new travel route which turns right from an actual place point in spite of a present travel route when a signal color detection unit detects that the traffic signal turns a color meaning stop.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
【課題】 交通渋滞により交差点内にて停止した状態にて、交通信号機が赤になった場合に対応する自動運転車を提供する。【解決手段】 自動運転モードで走行中に、走行経路上の直面する交差点を直進して通過するために自車が交差点内に進入し、当該交差点内に自車が停止した状態にて、位置検出部が自車が交差点の中心点より先に進んだ位置にあることを検出し、かつ、信号色検知部が交通信号機が停止を意味する色に変わったことを検知した場合、現行の走行経路に拘わらず、経路設定部に現地点から右折する新たな走行経路を生成させる。【選択図】 図1 |
