To provide an oil applicator capable of applying a certain amount of oil to a component while inhibiting the scattering of the oil to the periphery and the adhesion of waste to the component.SOLUTION: An oil applicator 100 or 101 includes: a container 20 that has an opening 23 and the inside of which is filled with engine oil 40; and an oil thrower member 30 that has a base 31 attached to the opening 23, and a cylindrical part 32 extended into the container 20 from the base 31 and subjected to insertion/extraction of valves 2 and 10 coated with the engine oil 40. An inside diameter 34 of the cylindrical part 32 is larger than outside diameters of the valves 2 and 10.
