To make a vehicle receiving platform slightly high or flat and robust, so that a vehicle can be safely lifted up for maintenance and inspection in response to the low height of a tested vehicle and the low position of a jack-up point, and to enable the platform to be easily manufactured.SOLUTION: A lift for vehicle maintenance includes a vehicle receiving platform 9 attached to an upper end of an elevator pillar and housed in a pit in a movable manner. A support arm moving space 19 and a cylinder installation space 20 are vertically arranged in the interior of the vehicle receiving platform 9. A support arm 18 is movably arranged in the support arm moving space 19.
