Summary:To provide a multi-stage cascade pump, which pumps water with a small amount of power or labor even from a water source having a height difference upon when power supply is cut off, for example, when pumping water from a water source such as a well, river or pond.SOLUTION: Cylindrical tank chambers 0114 having upper and lower closed sides are stacked in multiple stages to form a main pipe 0110. A plurality of transfer side pipes 0120 are arranged along the main pipe 0110. The transfer side pipes 0120 are communicated with a lower tank chamber 0114 via suction check valves 130A, while being communicated with an upper tank chamber 0114 via extrusion check valves 130B. By alternately depressurizing and pressurizing inside of the transfer side pipes 0120 using a pressure reducing pump 140A and a pressurizing pump 140B, water is transferred from the lower tank chamber 01140 to the upper tank chamber 0114 of the main pipe 0110 through the transfer side pipes 0120.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1A 【課題】電力の供給が途絶えた停電時に、例えば、井戸や河川や池等の水源から水を汲み上げるに際して、高低差がある水源からでも、僅かな電力で或いは労力で水を汲み上げ得る多段カスケード汲上ポンプを提供する。【解決手段】上下が閉塞された筒状のタンク室0114を多段に重ねて主管0110を形成すると共に、この主管0110に沿うようにして複数の転送側管0120を配置し、転送側管0120を下段のタンク室0114と吸引逆止弁130Aでつなぐ一方で上段のタンク室0114とは押出逆止弁130Bでつなぎ、減圧ポンプ140A及び加圧ポンプ140Bによって転送側管0120内を交互に減圧及び加圧することで、転送側管0120を介して主管0110の下段のタンク室01140から上段のタンク室0114に水を移送する。【選択図】図1A
