Summary:To provide a consumable parts container (pod) that enables the delivery and removal of consumable parts from a cluster tool assembly.SOLUTION: A front opening ring pod 1000 includes a base plate 1134 having a front side, a back side, and two lateral sides. Support columns 1129 are disposed on respective lateral sides proximal to the front side, and other two support columns are disposed on respective lateral sides proximal to the back side. Each of the support columns includes fingers 1130 distributed lengthwise and directed inward. Two hard stop columns 1128 are disposed parallel to the support columns on the back side. A shell structure 1127 connected to the base plate encloses each support column, a top plate 1132 and the two hard stop columns and includes a front opening disposed on the front side of the base plate.
