Summary: | To delay an increase in the temperature of a stationary terminal during energization in an electromagnetic relay.SOLUTION: An electromagnetic relay comprises: a stationary terminal; a movable contact piece; a support member; and an endothermic member. The stationary terminal includes a stationary contact and an external connection part that is connected to an external apparatus. The movable contact piece includes a movable contact that can be in contact with the stationary contact. The support member supports the stationary terminal. The endothermic member is a different body from the support member, in contact with the stationary terminal in a state in which the stationary contact and the movable contact are in contact, and has a heat capacity larger than the heat capacity in the stationary terminal from the stationary contact to the external connection part.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
