Summary:To quickly finish the regeneration of a DPF, in an engine with a supercharger.SOLUTION: An engine 2 with a supercharger comprises: a fuel injection valve (injector 21); an electric supercharger 5; an exhaust emission control device 6 arranged at an exhaust passage 32, and including a filter device; a position adjustment device (ISG 56) for stopping a piston in a cylinder within a prescribed range for a restart at an automatic stop of the engine; and a control unit (ECU 100). When an automatic stop condition is established during the regeneration of the filter device, the control unit stops a piston in a specified cylinder within a range of an overlapped state that both an intake valve and an exhaust valve are valve-opened, and continues the regeneration of the filter device by driving the electric supercharger, and injecting fuel into the specified cylinder during the automatic stop of the engine.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 【課題】過給機付きエンジンにおいて、DPFの再生を速やかに完了させる。【解決手段】過給機付きエンジン2は、燃料噴射弁(インジェクタ21)と、電動過給機5と、排気通路32に設けられた、フィルタ装置を含む排気浄化装置6と、エンジンの自動停止時に、気筒内のピストンを、再始動のための所定の範囲に停止させる位置調整装置(ISG56)と、制御ユニット(ECU100)と、を備えている。制御ユニットは、フィルタ装置の再生中に、自動停止条件が成立した場合、特定の気筒内のピストンを、吸気弁及び排気弁が共に開弁したオーバーラップ状態となる範囲に停止させると共に、エンジンの自動停止中に、電動過給機の駆動と、特定の気筒内への燃料の噴射とを行うことで、フィルタ装置の再生を継続させる。【選択図】図1
