To provide a support member of a seat sliding device capable of improving efficiency of manufacturing work and assembling work by reducing the number of components while maintaining a performance for discharging foreign matters.SOLUTION: A support member 10 includes a rail supporting part 11 fixed to a front end part of a lower rail 1, a floor fixation part 12 fixed to a vehicle body floor, a connection part 13 having a slope part 13a inclining downward to the floor fixation part from the rail supporting part and a flange part 15 continuously provided on a tip part of the floor fixation part, and both sides of the rail supporting part and the connection part. Therein, the floor fixation part has a vertical wall part 16 standing up to the upper side on a position between the connection parts and the vertical wall part is connected to the connection parts on such a position that an upper end part 16a is higher than a height of a head part 17a of a bolt 17 for fixation to be inserted into a bolt insertion hole 12b which is provided on a bottom wall of the floor fixation part and has a stepped recessed part 18 extended to an upper end part of the vertical wall part from the rail supporting part on an almost central position in a width direction of the slope part of the connection part.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 【課題】異物の排出性を維持しつつ、部品点数を削減して製造作業や組み立て作業能率の向上を図り得るシートスライド装置の支持部材を提供する。【解決手段】支持部材１０は、ロアレール１の前端部に固定されるレール支持部１１と、車体フロアに固定されるフロア固定部１２と、レール支持部からフロア固定部へ下り傾斜状の斜面部１３ａを有する連結部１３と、フロア固定部の先端部とレール支持部及び連結部の両側に連続的に設けられたフランジ部１５と、を備え、フロア固定部は、連結部との間の位置に上方へ立ち上がった縦壁部１６を有し、縦壁部は、上端部１６ａがフロア固定部の底壁に設けられたボルト挿入孔１２ｂに挿入される固定用ボルト１７の頭部１７ａの高さよりも高い位置で連結部に連結され、連結部の斜面部の幅方向のほぼ中央位置に、レール支持部から縦壁部の上端部まで延びた段差状の凹部１８を有している。【選択図】図１
