Summary:To provide an apatite carbonate covering material capable of highly satisfying both requirements of the following (1) and (2), where (1) the amount of carbonic acid group in an apatite structure is large, and (2) an adhesive strength between an apatite carbonate layer and a support is large.SOLUTION: An apatite carbonate covering material is manufactured in a manufacturing process including steps of: covering at least a part of a support having 1 μm or more of the arithmetic average surface roughness (Ra) of the surface with the precursor of apatite carbonate; and applying at least one component selected from a group of a phosphoric acid component, a calcium component and a carbonate component to the precursor by applying a solution including the component to the support having at least the part covered with the precursor of apatite carbonate to convert the precursor into apatite carbonate.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 【課題】下記(1)と(2)の、両方の要求を高度に満たす炭酸アパタイト被覆材料を提供する。(1)アパタイト構造中の炭酸基量が多い。(2)炭酸アパタイト層と支持体との接着強度が大きい。【解決手段】表面の算術平均表面粗さ(Ra)が1μm以上である支持体の少なくとも一部を、炭酸アパタイトの前駆体で被覆する工程と、少なくとも一部が炭酸アパタイトの前駆体で被覆された支持体に、リン酸成分、カルシウム成分、炭酸成分の群から選ばれる少なくとも一つの成分を含む溶液を付与することにより、該成分を前駆体に付与して、前駆体を炭酸アパタイトに組成変換するする工程となどを含む製造工程で炭酸アパタイト被覆材料を製造する。【選択図】図3
